    How data is processed

    Processing takes place through IT and telematic tools, via white-label CRM systems hosted on our own domain. This can include contact and pipeline management, email and messaging automation, segmentation, interaction monitoring, recording of communications where applicable, integration with advertising tools, and the use of AI tools for analysis and transcription.

      Scale Engine — controller and processor roles

      When a Scale Sales client uses the Scale Engine platform, the following roles apply under data protection law: the Client acts as data controller for the data of its own users and contacts. Scale Sales acts as data processor, limited to the technical and operational activities involved in providing the service. Any infrastructure providers involved act as sub-processors.

      The relationship between controller and processor is governed by Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Access to and use of Scale Engine is also governed by our Terms of Service, acceptance of which is required to use the platform.

        International data transfers

        Data may be processed outside the European Union. In that case, transfers take place towards countries covered by an adequacy decision, through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC), or under other safeguards permitted by applicable law.

          Data retention

          Data is kept until consent is withdrawn or for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
